I've always enjoyed learning how to do things the "old-fashioned" way (caused by reading too many Little House books as a child, I'm sure!)  One summer, I took a soap-making class.  The following fall, my mother was diagnosed with cancer.  She wanted to reduce her exposure to synthetic chemicals, and I wanted to help.  So I began to make soap for her using nothing but soothing, natural ingredients.

Mom loved it, and at her urging, HartFelt Soaps was begun.  Each small batch is hand-made using only gentle oils, botanical or mineral colorants, and pure essential oils.  Because of this, our soaps are exceptionally mild, the colors are soft, and the scents are subtle.
